The Distillery, Crieff

Welcome to the latest addition to the Abade Collection - The Distillery, Crieff. This is a delightful farm barn conversion that richly deserves its Visit Scotland 4 Star rating - in fact we would give it 5 Stars! Originally a real distillery with history dating back to 1819, the owners have created a beautiful and spacious house, retaining many original features. Take a closer look at...

I've just been updating some of the local tourist brochures in a few of the Abade Holiday Cottages and was struck by this little booklet, Perthshire's Larder, packed full of all the wonderful eateries and local food growers & producers we have on our door step. From Heather honey to oatcakes to organic beef...the list goes on. Pick up a copy today in your tourist office and enjoy visiting some of our dedicated Perthshire foodies.

This month's issue features some of Abade's favourite local destinations.  Find an article celebrating 10 years of Gloagburn Farm Shop in Tibbermore, Pg 10.  Visit the award winning Highland Chocolatier in Grandtully, Pg 18 and discover the origins of Lovsushi.com - Perthshire's very on mobile sushi business, Pg 15.  Explore Perthshire's newest micro distillery Strathearn Distillery on pg 12 and enjoy an update from Rosie of the Wee Pie Company on Pg 13.
